McAuslands Managing Director, Albert Weatherill, has been shortlisted for the Entrepreneur of the Year at the Hull Live Business Awards!
Hull Live says; “A director of the business within a decade of joining from the Merchant Navy, he has been instrumental in making a long established Hull-based marine surveyor an international force, from the Humber to Teesport and Taiwan.
Made managing director in 2008, and staying on to play a group role after acquisition in 2019, he welcomed in the first £1 million revenue year and is now sailing towards the £4 million mark. Initiating a safe crew change system in Covid as a seafaring humanitarian crisis emerged has played a key role in recent growth.”
