Dale is a Marine Engineer having served with Maersk Line and Princess Cruises prior to becoming a surveyor in January 2014. Dale served on container ships and cruise liners at officer level.
During his time with McAuslands he has carried out numerous P&l and H&M investigations on many ship types including extensive involvement in major failures and repair disputes, both in the United Kingdom and overseas. He is also a principal surveyor with the Project Cargo team and has acted as marine warranty surveyor for various heavy lift projects for major clients both load-outs and load-ins. He has also carried out various types of vessel audits and inspections.
Dale is the principal course leader on our popular Vessel Familiarisation Course in the UK and holds a welding inspectors’ qualification accredited by CSWIP requirements.
