A Master Mariner with an MSc in Strategy & Resource Management, Jeff started his seagoing career in 1985 and sailed on crude, product and liquefied gas vessels for 11 years.
After leaving the sea he had a ten year academic career where he led, designed and taught undergraduate marine operations degree programmes before returning to industry and joining a major independent tanker owner and operator as part of their management team. Six years in front line vessel management was followed by a move into marine consulting in the City of London in 2012, which culminated in a role as Director of Consulting for a large global marine survey and consulting firm.
