CV summary
Paul started as surveyor with Van Ameyde Marine in 2002 and became an all-round marine surveyor.
Previously Paul sailed for 10 years on various types of vessels, mainly tanker vessels, obtained a Master Mariner’s license and ended his career at sea as Chief Officer on a VLCC. He followed various courses such as Cambridge Refrigeration Technology and Postharvest Technology Short Course at UC Davis, thus improving his skills on refrigerated cargoes.
Paul handled several large casualties, including a few cases as surveyor appointed by the Court. He can meticulously scrutinise piles of documents in order to evaluate e.g. complicated demurrage or shortage claims.
