We are pleased to announce the promotion of Joel to Operations Manager Scandics. Alongside this new leadership role, he will continue to serve as a Senior Marine Surveyor, supporting clients across the region with the same technical capability and commitment he is known for.

Joel has been part of our surveying team since 2021 and brings a strong nautical background to his work. A Master Mariner by trade, he also holds a DP Unlimited Certificate, both of which underpin his operational understanding and ability to support complex attendances. His experience spans marine and transport surveys, P&I and H&M attendances, project cargo and transport assignments, as well as MWS and lashing and securing operations. He has also completed the P&I Qualification Module 1.

His surveying experience covers a broad range of work, including marine and transport surveys, P&I and H&M surveys, and project cargo and transport assignments. He also attends on MWS scopes and lashing and securing operations. Joel has completed the P&I Qualification Module 1, strengthening his insight into liability, claims handling and casualty response.

In his new role, Joel will support the coordination of our Scandics operations, ensuring consistent service delivery and clear communication with clients and colleagues. His practical approach, technical grounding and steady leadership style make him a strong fit for this position.
