CV summary

From 1983 to 2006, Gareth was employed on a wide variety of vessel including General Cargo, Bulk, Heavy Lift, RoRo, LASH, Gas Tanker, Container, Supply, AHTS, and Passenger Cruise ships. During which time, he progressed from the rank of Deck Cadet to Master. Whilst sailing as Master, Gareth served on Heavy lift, MPP and Container vessels.

From 2006 – 2025, Gareth held positions such as Senior Cargo Superintendent, Port Captain, Marine Consultant, Surveyor and Marine Operations Director.

Gareth joined Van Ameyde Marine in 2025 as Marine Surveyor.
