Oleg recently joined Van Ameyde Marine. He has over 20 years experience in the maritime industry. While studying at the maritime school in Flushing he simultaneously commenced work at the port. From that moment his life was connected to shipping and everything associated with this term became his great passion. He gained precious experience sailing aboard heavy lift vessels with Jumbo Shipping, actively participating in various offshore projects, and contributing to operations at the head office.

Driven by a desire to submerge himself in the dynamic world of containerization, Oleg transitioned to container vessel planning roles at WEC Lines and Evergreen. However, the lack of physic touch and action on the field gave a push to Oleg to explore the survey world. Joining Marintec Expertise BV, Oleg primarily served as a container surveyor, with occasional opportunities to board the vessels.

Recognizing the essential risks at the terminal and onboard, Oleg prioritizes safety above all else. His approach focuses on promoting a culture of safe work practices, laying a solid foundation for his professional events.
