Van Ameyde Marine is pleased to announce the promotion of Samin to  the position of Marine Manager, Nordics Baltics & Ukraine, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. This strategic promotion reflects the company’s continued commitment to strengthening its regional leadership, expanding its consultancy capabilities and delivering exceptional service to the marine insurance and maritime sectors.

Samin brings more than a decade of seagoing experience, having sailed on bulk carriers and general cargo vessels before achieving the rank of Captain in 2017. His transition into marine surveying marked the beginning of a highly successful consultancy career in Sweden, where he quickly established a reputation for technical excellence, reliability and strong project management. His portfolio includes a wide range of surveys, investigations and complex assignments across P&I, H&M and project-related work.

In his new role, Samin will take on senior leadership responsibilities across the Nordics, Baltics and Ukraine. These regions continue to play a critical role in global shipping, casualty response and marine insurance activity. He will be responsible for shaping and implementing growth strategies, strengthening client relationships and driving the development of Van Ameyde Marine’s consultancy and advisory services.

is remit includes oversight of operational delivery, commercial performance and the continued development of a high-performing team of surveyors and consultants. With his strong technical background, deep regulatory knowledge and commitment to quality, Samin will also act as a key technical authority across all marine disciplines.
