CV summary

Kevin is a maritime professional with extensive seagoing experience across a wide range of vessel types and global operations. After completing his Bachelor's degree, he spent five years sailing worldwide as a deck officer on general cargo and heavy-lift vessels. During this period, he supported multiple oil and gas projects, delivering breakbulk and heavy cargoes, and gained broad exposure to transporting mineral bulk, paper products, steel products and yachts. 

He later advanced to the role of Chief Officer on an offshore heavy-lift vessel, contributing to decommissioning projects in the North Sea. Most recently, Kevin expanded his operational experience further by serving on an LPG tanker for several months, adding gas carrier operations to his professional portfolio. 

Kevin joined Van Ameyde Marine in 2026 as a Marine Surveyor.
