Steve Robson is a Senior Principal Engineering Surveyor with more than 45 years of experience in the marine and offshore industries. A qualified Marine Engineer, Steve has been actively involved in vessel operations, technical management, shipbuilding, repair and conversion projects since 1978.

Throughout his career, Steve has developed extensive expertise across a wide range of marine sectors, including shipping, offshore energy, renewables, consultancy, liability investigations and loss prevention. He has undertaken numerous Hull & Machinery, P&I and condition surveys, casualty investigations, marine warranty assignments, shipyard risk assessments and technical inspections worldwide.

Steve's practical engineering knowledge is complemented by significant experience in vessel management, cargo operations, towing projects, heavy lift and project cargoes, refrigerated cargoes, hatch cover testing and ice navigation. He is a member of both the Society of Offshore Marine Warranty Surveyors (SOMWS) and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST).

His combination of technical expertise, operational experience and commercial awareness enables him to provide clients with clear, practical and authoritative advice across a broad spectrum of marine engineering and survey assignments.
