CV summary

Mike joined Van Ameyde Marine in 2024. Mike began his career through jetty operations at Stanlow refinery. Within a few years, Mike moved to Terminal Operations at UM Storage, overseeing tank blends, loading and discharging wagons into various storage tanks, and attending vessels loading/discharging. 

In 2015, Mike joined Intertek as a Marine Surveyor, advancing to Senior Marine Surveyor, specialising in gasoline, diesel, chemicals, vegetable oils and various black oils. 

In 2022, Mike began working within an Intertek Petrochemical laboratory, testing and analysing various products from crude oil, lube oils, chemicals, bio-fuels and used cooking oils. This time critical work included wet chemistry and automated testing, further developed Mike's knowledge of industry standard test methods, alternative test methods and modified test methods.
