Since 2003, he has been engaged in complex global shipping matters spanning dry bulk, tanker, container, passenger, offshore and project cargo sectors. 

Nathan has acted in hundreds of high-value disputes worldwide, frequently instructed by major P&I Clubs, FD&D insurers, and international law firms. His work covers speed and consumption claims, hull fouling, safe port/berth assessments, seaworthiness, cargo damage, groundings, collisions, and casualty reconstruction. His expert opinions are known for their clarity, technical precision, and rigorous evidence-based methodology. 

With extensive sea-going experience and a strong background in operational management. His expertise also extends to modern maritime technology, including AIS reconstruction, weather-route analysis, performance modelling, and digital investigation techniques.
